Ares Teixidó is a Spanish television reporter, broadcaster, presenter and commentator who was born in Lleida, Catalonia, on January 19, 1987. She has worked in various local and national media outlets, covering different genres and topics. She is also known for her participation in reality shows and her personal life.
Ares Teixidó started working as a photographic model for magazines and catalogs while studying acting in Lleida. She also developed an interest in radio and television, and began her professional career in 2001, presenting the children’s radio program El núvol on COM Ràdio. She later collaborated in various programs on the local television station La Mañana TV.
In 2009, Ares Teixidó moved to national television as a reporter for the nightly program Mientras duermes on Telecinco. She then became a reporter for the space Vuélveme loca on the same channel, from 2010 to 2012. She also worked as a regular contributor to the program No le digas a mamá que trabajo en la tele on Cuatro, in 2011.
In 2014, she made her national television debut as a presenter on Telecinco’s Cazamariposas XXL. She also joined the team of Gran Hermano: El Debate on Telecinco, where she was a commentator. In 2015, she participated in the third edition of the reality show Gran Hermano VIP, where she stayed for seven weeks. She also commented on Supervivientes: El Debate, a space presented by Raquel Sánchez Silva.
She continued working as a commentator for Gran Hermano 16: El Debate and GH 16: Límite 48 horas in 2015 and 2016. In 2019, she returned to Mediaset España as a commentator in the debate of Gran Hermano Dúo.
Ares Teixidó also worked for Atresmedia, another major Spanish media group. She was a reporter and contributor for the program Ya te digo on Neox, from February to June 2010. She was also a reporter for the program SummerTime on LaSexta, in the summer of 2010.
In 2016, Antena 3 announced her signing to host the program El Amor está en el aire with Juan y Medio. She also presented the New Year’s Eve special of Antena 3 called La vuelta al año en un zapping with Jorge Fernández.
Besides working for national television channels, Ares Teixidó also had a career in regional television stations. She worked for Català TV, where she was a commentator for the program Condició Femenina from 2007 to 2008. She also hosted the programs Voyeurs and + Q Póker on Canal Català TV in 2008.
She joined the team of Xtop on 8tv in the summer of 2007 and became a contributor to the program Trencadís on the same channel in 2015. She also worked for Teve.cat, Telemadrid and TV3.
